This innovative device improves the strength of the horizontal stabilizer and works in conjunction with the trim system. No 180 H.P. Crosswinds S.T.O.L. Gross Wieght Increase for Piper PA-12 & PA-14
The Crosswinds S.T.O.L. Gross Weight Increase for the Piper PA-12 & PA-14 increase the wheel plane gross weight from 1750 lbs. to 1935 lbs. The conversion requires extensive welding, PA-18 tail feathers, PA-18 landing gear and a minimum of a 150 H.P. engine.
